“I bet.” Jimmy leaned back on his hands. “I don’t think I’ve ever—ever been that close, you know? He’s gotta have women all over him.”

It took Clark a second, even with the speed, to work through what Jimmy had said, and to stop himself from laughing. “He probably has trouble. With the alien thing,” he managed.

“No way, man, with that jaw? And the hair? And he’s, what, six-four? Women love that. And they probably like the alien thing. Women are perverts,” Jimmy said, sagely. “Maybe he has, like… tentacles.”

“Tentacles? He doesn’t have tentacles. And anyway, I’m six-four, and it doesn’t help me.”
